Mother of Pearl Brass Opera Glasses

A Paris relic from another time, these antique French opera glasses likely date to the late 19th to early 20th Century.  Featuring an extendable mother-of-pearl style lorgnette handle and classic optics, this piece serves as both a functional accessory for the theater or opera and a charming decorative accent for any library, desk, or bookshelf. The gilt brass framework shows visible wear and patina but the mother of pearl is all in tact.  Missing one eye piece, and handle bottom.  The arm mechanism and focus wheel all remain fully functional.
